Position Summary
Treehouse Easthampton is an innovative award-winning intergenerational community with a social purpose: to support families providing permanency for children and youth who have experienced foster care, and older adults who act as “honorary grandparents. The Child & Family Support Coordinator will utilize trauma-informed care and best practices to meet the emerging needs of our intergenerational Treehouse Easthampton Community, specifically targeting our youth and families living on the circle. Child and Family Support Coordinators at Treehouse facilitate after school and out of school programming for youth ages 5-12, provide one-on-one support to parents and youth of all ages as needed, and support volunteers who are working with youth to bolster confidence and maintain an ability to successfully implement trauma-informed care and best practices.

Treehouse crafted the blueprint for community living that helps kids thrive. We build affordable housing that brings three generations together. Children excel in an entire neighborhood dedicated to their well-being. Older adults find new purpose as “honorary grandparents.” Each generation invests in each other with the support of on-site staff and programming. Our first neighborhood opened in Easthampton, MA in 2006. A second site in Boston is underway and national expansion plans are in development.

Benefits and Compensation
This is an exempt full time 40 hour a week position with full benefits. This position holds a 11am-7pm schedule with flexibility in start and end times depending on programming needs. The annual pay range is $59,000-$64,000, commensurate with experience. This position is on site in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Occasional evening and weekend hours required.
