Description

Our client, a national association for higher education institutions in the field of nursing, has an immediate need for a Higher Education Association Coordinator. The organization is dedicated to improving public health by ensuring the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate, and residency/fellowship programs in nursing. It serves the public interest by assessing and identifying programs that engage in effective educational practices, supporting continuing self-assessment, and encouraging the growth and improvement of collegiate professional education and nurse residency/fellowship programs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong Access skills and online database tools.
  • About 3 years of professional experience.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of accreditation and basic invoicing processes.
  • Recommended: Knowledge of health professions, higher education, and/or nonprofit organizations.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the organization's databases.
  • Serve as a liaison to technology vendors.
  • Prepare materials and logistics for meetings.
  • Prepare communications for dissemination to the public and various organizations.
  • Provide data to internal teams by designing and running queries and reports as needed for all databases utilized, including those in Microsoft Access and online.
  • Assist in managing financials related to the accreditation process (preparing invoices, tracking receivables, reconciliations, and budget process).
