Description

The Choice, Inc is seeking an immediate Receptionist for our client, an exciting nonprofit organization focused on renewable energy research.


This role will serve as a friendly, welcoming, and professional representative for the organization’s downtown DC office.


This is a fully in-person position, 5 days a week. The office is located at a convenient location, very close to the Dupont Circle metro station.


The position is an immediate need and will be starting as soon as possible. We are seeking candidates who would be interested in a long term opportunity. There is potential for temporary to hire


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist staff and visitors to the office
  • Answer and direct incoming calls using Microsoft Teams Phone
  • Respond to emails in the general inbox, answering questions or routing inquiries to appropriate departments.
  • Provide support for daily office services
  • Distributing mail as needed
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 5 days a week in person in DC
  • Previous receptionist or front desk experience required
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
  • Some experience using Microsoft Teams Phone preferred


Salary Information:

Temporary Salary: $24-$25/h
