We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join our hard-working team of HR professionals. Your problem-solving abilities, sense of ownership, and exceptional communication skills will enable your success in this role.  You will develop and implement programs to engage, attract and recruit high-quality candidates with the goal of hiring the right people in the right roles. Additionally, your sense of responsiveness and service will make you a strong liaison with hiring managers and other colleagues attached to the hiring process. In this role you will:


  • Implement our TA strategy with an eye toward process improvement
  • Support hiring managers with a “service mindset” that builds a collaborative hiring environment
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders inside and outside of People Operations in order to bring clarity and understanding to the recruiting process
  • Manage the steps of recruiting from requisition to posting, screening to selection, background checks to employment offer
  • Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates
  • Develop strong working relationships with departmental hiring managers and set clear expectations around the steps of successful recruiting.
  •  Design interview questions in conjunction with managers


Basic Qualifications:


  •  At least 3 years of prior full-cycle recruiting for an organization of at least 300 employees
  •  Prior experience communicating hiring procedures to managers at all levels of the organization
  •  Proficiency in documenting processes
  •  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a diverse audience of internal and external stakeholders
  •  Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  •  Experience with technology including HRIS platforms, Zoom, MS Office Suite
  •  Superb attention to detail
  •  Adaptable, curious and solution-focused


Preferred Qualifications:


  •  4+ years of recruiting experience
  •  Experience in presenting information to hiring managers via Zoom or in-person meetings
  •  Strong networker that can find the needle in the haystack
  •  Professional certification or credential in recruiting, project management or other HR discipline
  •  Familiarity with recruiting in non-profit and for-profit employers

Travel Requirements:


There will be minimal travel in the local area to other local NWF offices in the DC metro area as needed.  There may be limited travel throughout the year to attend conferences, meet with the People Team and other stakeholders.

This position will be based in our headquarters in Reston, VA. Compensation and Benefits:


The salary range for this position is $67,000 - $73,000, commensurate with experience.
