Job Summary: As an Associate Consultant at KMSG, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' social impact initiatives through effective communication, strategic collaboration, and meticulous coordination. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our clients receive exceptional service, tailored strategies, and valuable insights that align with their mission and goals. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for making a difference will contribute to our clients' success in creating meaningful social change.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of client projects, ensuring alignment with their strategic goals and social impact objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, conduct research, and contribute to the development of tailored strategies and solutions.
  • Support the creation and delivery of compelling communications materials, including narratives, impact reports, digital content, and crisis communications plans.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of digital storytelling initiatives, Google Ad Grants campaigns, and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
  • Contribute to brand and communications audits, peer analysis, and infrastructure assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation.
  • Assist in evaluating staffing needs and gaps within client organizations, participating in strategic hiring and onboarding support activities.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution, timely deliverables, and clear communication.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social impact best practices, and emerging communication technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of existing work experience (including internships) in the consulting, philanthropic, nonprofit, public relations, and/or corporate social responsibility sector.
  • Strong passion for social impact, philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, and nonprofit sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling narratives and communications materials.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Familiar with Google Workspace software (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meets); Canva; MS Office, including MS Word and Excel; Slack; and social media platforms like Meta Business and/or LinkedIn and LinkedIn Advertiser. 
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and search engine optimization (SEO) principles.
  • Previous experience in communications, account coordination, or related roles is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
