Description

We are partnering with a higher education membership association for community colleges. This is a direct-hire search and will be working on-site most days, 4 days/week in their DC office and 1 day of telework per week (Monday and Tuesday need to be in person days). The department that this position is in is responsible for coordinating CEO searches, retreats, interim president placement, and leadership training.

We are seeking candidates who are:

  • Interested in community colleges and higher education equity
  • Interested in executive search/recruiting support
  • Have 2 years of administrative and/or project management experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree is preferred
  • Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Description:

This position will report to the Vice President of Search Services and supports the day-to-day administrative operations of the department, including:

  • Support executive searches and other direct services for Search Committees, Governing Boards, and Search Consultants
  • Process applications and maintain database for candidate applications, records, logs, communications, etc.
  • Draft proposals for search services
  • Update webpage and social media postings
  • Conduct internet research
  • Conduct confidential reference reports
  • Draft college-wide communications and other documents to support search consultants
  • Maintain detailed records of projects
  • Maintain electronic library of sample documents
  • Manage social media presence and website for searches
  • Draft and organize materials for national meetings
  • Maintain meticulous records for executive searches
  • Provide overall administrative support for complex projects
  • Other duties as assigned
