Invest in Our Future (IOF) is an innovative new philanthropic effort created to harness the power of historic new laws and vastly accelerate the country’s transition to a clean and equitable energy economy. IOF brings together the power of philanthropy and partner organizations to tackle the climate crisis in a way that bolsters America’s competitiveness in the 21st century. IOF will maintain a large and diverse portfolio of grantees, convene partners and stakeholders, provide technical assistance, and create a strategic hub that will pool and align major funding to ensure that the promise of the greatest investment in clean energy in U.S. history is realized.
Position Overview:
The Chief of Staff is the key liaison working with the Executive Director to advance IOF’s mission, vision, and objectives. The Chief of Staff is a trusted advisor who supports the Executive Director to manage the organization and ensure that IOF is aligned and executing against its priorities and agenda. The Chief of Staff manages IOF internal operations, organizational functionality, work and projects that have the biggest impact on the Executive Director’s and organizational agenda. The Chief of Staff works closely with senior staff and the Executive Director to enhance IOF program work and strategic management of fiscal sponsor and funder relationships.
The Chief of Staff will have significant experience providing strategic, advisory, and organizational leadership to support and advance IOF’s priorities. They will be equally comfortable advising the most senior levels of management as they are guiding and collaborating across all levels of staff and work at the organization.
The Chief of Staff is at ease navigating between all sectors – the nonprofit, government and corporate – whether in the United States or globally. They are a thoughtful steward of people and resources, a model of integrity and discretion, and are passionate about IOF’s mission.
Pay Range:
$186,746.00 to $271,821.00. This represents the present low and high end of RFCC's pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.

What We Offer:
Invest in Our Future is a fiscally sponsored project of RF Catalytic Capital, Inc. (“RFCC”). RFCC is a new 501(c)(3) public charity, launched by the Rockefeller Foundation in 2020, whose work is to develop, support, and/or apply innovative solutions to address the world's most intractable social and environmental problems impacting vulnerable people and communities. This position will begin at RFCC and may be transferred or assigned to Invest in Our Future. Such transfer or assignment, if at all, would in all aspects be subject to RFCC’s sole discretion.
