Working with other members of the senior leadership team, the Director of Finance will play a critical role in decision-making in multiple areas as Family Voices continues to enhance its quality programming and build its capacity.
This position will have direct management responsibility for support and oversight of 2-3 finance staff members.
Reports to: Executive Director
Position Status: Full-time with benefits; FLSA Exempt
Compensation and Benefits: Salary range $108,649 - $122,230. Family Voices offers paid time off; health, vision, and dental insurance; short- and long-term disability; flex spending plans; and a 401(k) plan with employer contribution.
Work Location: Remote with occasional travel for staff meetings and other events. Candidates should have a dedicated home office working space.
Responsibilities and Duties
Financial Management
The Director of Finance is responsible for the oversight of a variety of operations and will be involved in a range of strategic planning and internal initiatives. The Director of Finance works closely with the Executive Director (ED) and the contracted CPA to oversee current systems of budgeting, financial forecasting, audit activities, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable. This Director also helps to evaluate systems for future needs as the agency grows. The ideal candidate will be skilled at capturing key data and implementing processes that enable and demonstrate the relationship between Family Voices’ goals and future funding requirements.
