Position Summary:
The City of Portland is seeking a highly motivated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Training Analyst to oversee the DEI Training Program for the Vibrant Communities Portfolio, which includes Portland Parks and Recreation, the Children's Levy, the City Arts Program, and Vibrant Communities Support Services. This role is focused on supporting DEI training by connecting employees to learning opportunities, coordinating and expanding existing training programs, and tracking DEI training participation and outcomes. The DEI Training Analyst will collaborate with subject matter experts and our Professional Development Trainer to ensure learning opportunities are accessible, timely, impactful, and relevant to a wide audience of employees. Additionally, this position will serve as a consultant to bureau managers and supervisors as they create and implement policies and processes that enhance the delivery of DEI development opportunities.
