About Us

Anthos|Home is a groundbreaking startup dedicated to housing vulnerable New Yorkers. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Operations Associate to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of those in need of stable housing.


The Role

The Operations Associate will report to the Director of Operations and play a key role assisting in administrative support for the operations team. Key aspects of the job include managing administrative duties, maintaining accurate records and data and providing general program support. The ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with both colleagues and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to general inquiries from vendors, landlords, Housing team and tenant coordination team
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all tracking systems
  • Maintain confidential tenant and landlord files within our database
  • Collect and organize essential documents from partnering landlords
  • Order furnishings and supplies, schedule moving, maintain inventory database, and coordinate renter's insurance policies
  • Assist in scheduling, preparing, and organizing meetings, including setting agendas and arranging resources
  • Collect and organize receipts for all Operations expenses
  • Demonstrate adaptability in supporting various departmental needs


Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree and/or 2+ years’ experience in an administrative position.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Discretion in handling confidential financial information
  • Familiarity with the NYC housing market and voucher system a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce
  • Passion for the mission of the organization, and
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive starting salary: $55,000 - $57,000
  • Hybrid work environment (3-5 days in office/field per week)
