Description

Greenlight America is a new organization that mobilizes grassroots power to win local siting and permitting campaigns for clean energy projects. We do this by partnering with local groups and activists to run strategic campaigns that win approval for clean energy projects in their communities. Our founding team has led some of the largest grassroots organizing networks in the country, and we are building a scalable model for engaging and mobilizing local residents in support of clean energy.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Manager, Partnerships manages Greenlight’s engagement with non-profit partners, building strong relationships with national, state, and local partners to advance clean energy approvals. The role will work closely with the campaigns team to identify gaps in our partner engagement in priority states and regions, as well as build support for specific active campaigns. The position will also help identify and execute new ways of deepening relationships with partners, such as webinar trainings and content creation to support partner organizations in building broader support among their members of local siting and permitting campaigns. Finally, the position will build relationships with at least one critical community of clean energy allies: either Tribal or agricultural partners.

A successful candidate for this position will have excellent interpersonal and verbal presentation skills. They will have a demonstrated capacity to build new partnerships in the nonprofit sector from previous roles. They will have strong written communication and project management skills that ensure they follow-up and engage partners in a timely manner. An ideal candidate will also have experience (both understanding of the field and an existing network) in one of the following two areas of partnership: Tribal or farmer/agricultural engagement. The position will build partnerships across clean energy supporters in general, with a portion of their time spent deepening relationships specifically with one of those communities.

The position is remote and reports to the Senior Director, Partnerships.
