Description

Seeking a self starter who is interested in curating an exceptional artistic experience for all of the artists-in-residence at Vineyard Arts Project.

Vineyard Arts Project was founded by Tony-Award winning producer Ashley Melone. Vineyard Arts Project is an incubator for the creation of new work in dance & theatre. An artist residency located on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard, Vineyard Arts Project provides visiting artists with the necessary time & rehearsal space, allowing them to focus solely on the development of their new work. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage website
  • Manage contracts for rentals and residencies
  • Fundraising from foundations and individuals
  • Keen interest in producing theater and dance, specifically the creation of new work
  • Work with the on site property manager to ensure the house is kept in excellent condition for artists in residence
  • Manage annual tax filings and bookkeeping

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Martha's Vineyard

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Hours: Part time, 20 hours/week

Education: Bachelors required
