Mission:
Detroit Narrative Agency (DNA) supports and develops media-based storytelling centering Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) to foster collective healing, power, and liberation.
Scope: The core duties and responsibilities of the Development Director are 1) strengthening and diversifying DNA’s fundraising program which includes grant management and institutional and individual prospecting, 2) diversifying DNA’s support base, and 3) stewarding as well as expanding DNA’s current resources and supportive communities. The Development Director will work closely with the Executive Artistic Director and DNA advisory board to ensure that DNA’s fundraising goals are met and in alignment with the mission and values of the organization. The Development Director is a strategic thinker, team player, and compelling storyteller.
