Chief of Staff
Reports to: CEO/Publisher
The San Antonio Report, a nonprofit newsroom that serves Bexar County and surrounding areas is looking for a driven, detail-oriented chief of staff to report to the CEO on operational matters and strategic initiatives. As a key member of the executive team, you will have a problem-solving mindset, comfort with managing projects, and a get-it-done approach to our work — supporting our journalism as well as the business functions that make it possible. You will act as a stand-in for the CEO in certain meetings and take on special projects. Most importantly, this person is absolutely committed to the mission of the San Antonio Report: To provide journalism and civic engagement opportunities, enabling citizens and institutions to build a better city to live and work.

The San Antonio Report seeks a wide range of candidates to consider for this exciting opportunity. The average salary for Chief of Staff in the San Antonio market is $108,000 and will be used as a guideline; however, salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications. The San Antonio Report offers generous PTO and competitive benefits.
